‘Denouement’ of “The Dead Zone”
Wednesday, April 15th, 2009If a series runs successfully for six years, then I am sure that it must be having something in it. Till date, this series rules the hearts of people and is ranked pretty high, if we start ranking in terms popularity. Friends, here I am talking about “The Dead Zone”, where everything changes after an accident.
A few days back I was watching the last episode of the series which was aptly named ‘Denouement’. After watching the last episode I seriously wished I could get to see more of “The Dead Zone”. The last episode of the series was a perfect way the creators could end the series. All the unanswered questions about Johnny and his past were answered, which brought satisfaction to Johnny in the first place and then to audiences who had been waiting to know what was actually happening in his life.

In season finale of the season, after going through some of his father’s stuff he starts getting visions of his father, Herb and his wife Vera. Johnny then wonders why he is getting visions of his dead parents. Johnny then starts his search to come to terms with reality of his dead father. Johnny then meets this woman, Jacinta, who tells him that even his father had visions of the future. In his further investigation about his father he comes to know that he died much later than he was aware of. On the other hand, Johnny and J.J both get visions of Armageddon but J.J won’t tell about this to Sarah, so Johnny decides to tell everything to Sarah. And it is not for the first time that these men have got such visions.
I really wish that we could get to see some more of this season. Why don’t these guys start with a spin-off of this series, taking the series a bit further? I am sure there are thousands who would like to watch this series. Think about it guys, and pen down your thoughts in the comment box below.
