The second season of the series came only a few months after the first season had wrapped up. Starting on January 5, 2003, this season consisted of 18 episodes, five episodes more than its previous season. Season 2 carried forward the story where it had been left at the end of the first season. The series went on a mid-season hiatus after airing 11 episodes on April 6, 2003 to return on July 6 with the episode ‘The Storm’. The second season concluded with the episode ‘Visions’ on August 17, 2003.
