Life
Chris is the son of Scott Bruno and the elder brother of Dylan Bruno. During college Chris was active in theatre and sports both. He was the member of school’s Ski team while studying psychology in college, at Vermont. But afterwards he attended University of New York at Stony Brook with major in theatre and there he became the starting pitcher in the baseball team of the school.
Career
Chris joined the cast of NBC’s Another World portraying the role of Dennis Carrington soon after completing his graduation. For his portrayal of Dennis in Another World, he won Soap Opera Award for outstanding newcomer. Then he appeared on ABC’s All My Children.
Chris also appeared as a guest on the sitcoms The Nanny, Jesse and Suddenly Susan. In 1998, he worked in an independent film My Girlfriend’s Boyfriend which was directed by Kenneth Schapiro.
The Dead Zone
Chris portrayed Walt Bennerman in the Sci-Fi drama The Dead Zone.
Personal Life
Chris dated Broadway performer, Deborah Gibson for about four years. Chris is also a martial art fighter. Moreover Chris is also known as the godfather of Kelly Ripa and Michael Joseph Consuelos, Mark Consuelos’ first child.
